Palatal® P 61-01 is an unsaturated polyester based on Orthophthalic acid which can be used in multiple formulated resin products. In addition, the material is used for specific types of press molding.
Major Applications
Palatal® P 61-01 is particularly suitable for the production of glass-fiber reinforced moldings that have a low cracking susceptibility. At the same time, the resin has a high resistance to heat deformation (e.g. tanks, pipes, press moldings).
Certifications and Approvals
Cured unreinforced Palatal® P 61-01 conforms to type 1140 according to DIN 16 946/2 and is classified in group 1 according to DIN 18 820/1.
