Neomould® 6800-G-1 (based on Vinyl Ester resin) features zero shrinkage during cure and has a low peak exotherm (both in thin and thick layers). Consequently the resin is the ideal choice for making molds with infusion technique for great surface quality and dimensional predictability.
The high heat resistance translates into great mold durability. The resin is unfilled and preaccelerated.
Major applications
Neomould® 6800-G-1 was developed primarily to build molds using the vacuum infusion process at a room temperature. High glass content can be obtained using technical fabrics. The low viscosity of this product provides good wet out of the laminate and air removal.
