Daron® 120 is a special high performance resin showing extremely high fracture toughness and crack propagation energy values, especially suited for high demanding structural applications.
The resin is used in vacuum infusion with both carbon and glass reinforcements, generating very strong and durable components.
Major applications
Daron® 120 is especially developed for vacuum infusion. It exhibits excellent mechanical properties in glass and carbon fibre reinforced composites.
When carbon fibres are used, use of VE sizing types is preferred.
Daron® 120 is pre accelerated and has a low viscosity to be able to inject low-permeable reinforcements and complex-shaped big parts. Daron® 120 shows a fast through cure in thin layers.
