Iso/NPG resin for UV-Cure CIPP/Relining

Product description

Palatal® P 92 I-04 is an Iso/NPG resin used in CIPP/Relining applications. The resin contains a photo initiator system enabling curing with UV-light. The resin can be thickened by MgO.

Liners made from Palatal® P 92 I-04 provide enhanced chemical resistance and improved mechanical properties vs. standard Iso resins.

Major applications

Palatal® P 92 I-04 is suitable for the production of glass-fiber reinforced parts with excellent mechanical properties, which require outstanding chemical resistance and electrical properties (e.g. CIPP liners, tanks, vessels, hydraulic engineering, pipes, boats, corrosion protection and electrical industry).

Palatal® P 92 I-04 is specially formulated for the production of glass-fiber reinforced prepregs. These prepregs are very well suited for the repair of sewage systems. Palatal® P 92 I-04 can be easily thickened by the addition of Magnesium oxide.

Certifications and Approvals

Cured unreinforced Palatal® P 92 I-04 conforms to type 1140 according to DIN 16946/2 and is classified in group 3 according DIN 18820/1. According EN 13121, parts 1 and 2, the resin is classified in group 4.
