Beyone™ 120-Q-01 resin is used in filament winding processes for protection of steel pipes.
The resin is Styrene-free and contains a photo-initiator system
Major applications
Beyone™ 120-Q-01 is a vinyl ester dissolved in methacrylates and thus is emission free and has little smell. The resin is developed for UV Cure allowing fast curing speed.
The Beyone™ 120-Q-01 resin can be used in multiple processes including filament winding, hand lay-up and over-lamination. Because of the chemical nature of the polymer, the resin has a good chemical resistance.
Beyone™ 120-Q-01 can be used in many applications where styrene-free resin is requested. Beyone™ 120-Q-1 can be cured both, by UV light (380 - 420 nm) and also conventionally by addition of Co-accelerator and low active MEK-peroxide.
