Atlac® E-Nova RE 2145
Thixotropic Polyurethane Hybrid resin for Hot cure CIPP/ReliningProduct description
Atlac® E-Nova RE 2145 is a PU Hybrid resin used in CIPP/Relining projects that require excellent thermal and chemical resistance (e.g. chemical plants, de-icing lines, pipes in contact with polluted soil). The resin is cured by heat.
Major applications
Atlac® E-Nova RE 2145 has been specifically developed for Hot cure pipe rehabilitation systems.
Atlac® E-Nova RE 2145 has excellent wet out and air-release properties. Because of the incorporation of Urethane chemistry, the resin shows excellent thixotropic stability. The cured resin combines outstanding mechanical properties with a high temperature resistance.
The chemical resistance behavior of cured resin equals epoxy novolac vinyl ester performances. This translates into a high solvent resistance in combination with excellent resistance against aqueous acidic, salts and alkaline solutions.
Key benefits
Excellent chemical resistance (solvents, acids, oxydizing media)
Great mechanical strength and resilience
Fast installation (curable through steam and hot water)
High versatility: can be used for glass and felt liners
Can resist elevated operating temperatures
Key markets
- Building & Construction
- Infrastructure
