AOC is pleased to announce the appointment of Kees den Besten as new Strategic Projects Manager for the EMEA region. Kees will be responsible for leading AOC’s business development activities in carbon fiber products and applications, as well as for growing the company's presence in Anti-Corrosion markets. In addition, Kees will also be responsible for AOC sales activities in the Middle East.
Kees joins AOC from Owens Corning where he has had various roles within the Technical Fabrics organization in product development, technical support, program management and sales, working with global accounts in wind energy and pipe rehabilitation. Kees brings over 30 years of composite experience of which more than 20 years with DSM Composite Formulations in R&D & Technical Service, with strong focus on CIPP and Anti-Corrosion.

Kees will start in his new role as per May 1st, 2022 and will report to Stefan Osterwind. For his commercial role in the Middle East, Kees will report to Fons Harbers, VP Marketing & Sales AOC EMEA. Kees is a Dutch national and will be working from AOC's office in Zwolle, the Netherlands.
