Mechanical Technician
The AOC site in Haverhill is AOC’s spearhead for its business in the UK, being part of the AOC group of companies since 2022. AOC is presently making major investments on the site for extending the plant’s capabilities and product portfolio, as well as for preparing the organization for future business growth. Being committed to maintaining good health and safety of its employees, AOC wants to manage the operations in a reliable and sustainable manner.
In the Engineering/ Operations Department we are looking for a Mechanical Technician to complete our team.
Position
- Repair damages and defects to equipment
- Ensure periodic checks on devices.
- On-site fabrication.
- In situ and workshop welding, when required.
- Working in confined entry spaces and at height as required
- Covering out of hours breakdowns.
- Site facility maintenance
- Maintaining maintenance records.
- Work in accordance with company’s values, HR and HS&E policies
- You will report to the AOC Maintenance Manager
We are looking for
- At least 5 years experience in a role as Mechanical Technician
- NVQ level 3
- Team player
- Knowledge of a COMAH site
- Keen eye for details and in the meantime have a total overview.
- Passion for being in the field, to really understand status and progress of the Project.
