E&I Technician / Industrial Electrician

AOC is presently making major investments on the site for extending the plant’s capabilities and product portfolio, as well as for preparing the organization for future business growth. In the Engineering / Operations Department we are looking for a E&I Technician to complete our team.
Position
- Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
- Read technical diagrams
- Breakdown investigation and fault finding
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices
- Working in confined entry spaces and at height as required
- Covering out of hours breakdowns
- Site facility maintenance
- Electrical isolation and safety awareness
- Carry out regular PPM
- Maintaining maintenance records
- Work in accordance with company’s values, HR and HS&E policies
- You will report to the AOC Maintenance Manager
We look for
- Electrical engineering – preferably in a chemical environment
- Chemical handling
- Manual handling
- Counter balance fork licence (training could be provided)
- Electro-pneumatic experience (training could be provided)
- 18th Edition certificated (training could be provided to upskill)
- Health & Safety awareness
- Team working (across site)
- Good communication skills
- Basic PLC knowledge (advantage)
