Reducing your CO2 emissions - AOC will be presenting at the World Pultrusion Conference, the leading global Pultrusion event, taking place on March 5-6, 2026 at Sercotel Sorolla Palace in Valencia, Spain.
During the conference we will present the benefits of using rPET-based resins in Pultrusion, and showcase our sustainable formulations designed to reduce environmental footprint, as well as our latest innovations for enhanced performance and cost efficiency.
Please meet the AOC team and let’s discuss how we can help strengthen your business and shape the future of composites together.
Clear ambitions
Manufacturers in composites markets want to lower their environmental footprint without compromising performance or cost. At AOC, we help you do both. Together, we translate your sustainability ambitions into practical solutions - reducing CO₂ emissions (GWP), increasing renewable and recycled content, or improving workshop conditions with low‑emission systems. You set the ambition; together, we make green work.
rPET‑based resins from post‑consumer waste
AOC formulates UPR resins using post‑consumer recycled PET (rPET) from bottle waste. These rPET‑based products deliver on average a ~16% lower CO2 emission (GWP or Global Warming Potential) versus conventional Ortho, DCPD, Iso and Maleic systems, demonstrating the footprint benefit of using recycled feedstocks.
Our portfolio spans major composite processes and applications, including SMC/BMC (thickenable grades), Marine (Lloyd’s approved), Sanitary casting (high filler loading), Pultrusion, CIPP/Relining, Continuous Panel, and Hand lay‑up/Spray‑up. For the full rPET range and product datasheets, see AOC rPET portfolio (link).
Processing rPET into quality resins requires additional manufacturing steps. We take these measures because using recycled content is better for the environment as well as for increasing circularity.
Resins based on bio‑circular raw materials
While availability of raw materials made through bio-fermentation processes is still limited, mass‑balance feedstocks are readily available already today. AOC offers resins made with bio‑circular styrene and glycols produced from used cooking oil (UCO) via certified mass balance. We receive these raw materials with ISCC+ certification and pass on the certified biogenic/ recycled content in our finished products.
Think of it like green electricity: you can’t trace each molecule, but your purchase commits certified renewable feedstock into the system - helping scale sustainable supply. This approach lets you meet targets without dedicated green‑only production lines and increases renewable content adoption across composites markets and applications.
We Make Green Work
AOC believes sustainability happens in partnership. We commit to long‑term collaboration, turning ambition into action for developing greener products and processes that reduce environmental footprint.
We understands this journey takes dedication and hard work from both of us. That’s why we say: you set the ambition; together, we make green work. Not only making your products more sustainable, but also your business at the same time.
