The EPTA – European Pultrusion Technology Association in cooperation with the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) is organizing the 17th World Pultrusion Conference, taking place on February 29th to March 1st, 2024 in Hamburg, Germany. AOC is proud to be one of the sponsors of the event.
The World Pultrusion Conference is the most important event in Europe for pultruded fiber reinforced materials. More than 25 international speakers from Finland, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Turkey, UK, USA, Canada and others will present practical presentations about innovative applications, technologies and processes. Equally current market trends and developments are on the agenda.
At the conference, Thomas Wegman of AOC (representing the SMC BMC Alliance) will be presenting a paper: "Solutions for Sustainability – Recycling and Life Cycle Potential Analysis of Composites". Thomas will provide an update on the developments for composites recycling in Europe, as well as show early results of recent life cycle modelling (Cradle to Grave) of composites by the SMC BMC Alliance.
