Account Manager South-Korea

AOC is looking for a new colleague to reinforce our commercial organization in Asia Pacific. With a strong footprint in China and India already, AOC would like to broaden its customer base and further improve its service to customers in South-Korea.

As Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for our customers in the country and coordinate commercial activities, for building a sustainable business together. For this, you will liaise with the AOC Asia Pacific customer service, supply chain, manufacturing and technical team, ensuring optimum customer support.

You will work from home office in South-Korea and report to the Business Manager - Rest of Asia (based in Nanjing, China)

Position

  • Develop and execute Account Plans/ Sales strategies in line with AOC business strategy.
  • Realize sales in line with agreed plans and overall sales targets.
  • Build relations across functions, and at multiple levels within the targeted accounts for maximizing commercial success.
  • Identify long term business opportunities with the account(s) and include these in the Account Plans/ Sales strategies.
  • Manage the SO list (Sales opportunity list) and related actions for bringing the opportunities to a commercial success.
  • Define and implement development projects in collaboration with Business Managers with focus on key products and innovation, working closely with Technical Service and other functions.
  • Lead contract and price negotiations with the targeted accounts and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts/ price levels within the agreed price and volume targets.
  • Coordinate technical service or after sales service activities for customers.
  • Collect customer and/ or market information and communicate current and emerging needs.
  • Communicate via written (monthly including progress and issues at customers) and verbal reports.
  • Monitor Distributor business in defined regions
  • Develop new business and applications
  • Collect money back within credit control plan
  • Location: home office

We Look For

  • Bachelor and above degree in marketing, sales, chemical or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Marketing & Sales, preferably in composites/ UPR industry
  • Strong relationship builder and connector, able to act on all levels/ across functions, both externally and internally.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage others
  • Excellent negotiation skills
