AOC’s Hydropel R049 series is a promoted, low profile, modified vinyl ester formulation.
Major applications
The Hydropel R049 formulation is designed for use in liquid molding processes, (RTM, Infusion, Cold Processing).
Key benefits
Excellent mold reproducibility for Class A applications with gelcoat.
Lower exotherms than typical LPA systems that can result in longer tool life.
Excellent strength and toughness in finished parts.
Low neat viscosity allows for higher filler loadings which can be used to achieve better surfaces and higher physical properties.
